About the role

Deliver direct patient care on a fast-paced cardiovascular unit, monitoring cardiac status, titrating drips, and coordinating with cardiology and cath lab teams on same-day procedure turnarounds.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver care for pre- and post-procedure cardiac patients
• Monitor telemetry and titrate cardiac medications per protocol
• Coordinate care with cardiology, cath lab, and cardiac rehab teams
• Educate patients and families on cardiac diagnoses and home care
• Precept new hires and nursing students rotating through the unit

Requirements

• Current Nebraska RN license or active compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• 1+ years of cardiac, ICU, or telemetry experience preferred
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
