RN - Cardiology Specialists

Maintains excellent clinical competency

• Adequately adheres to the standard clinical expectations for Riverside Medical Group.
• Able to obtain vital signs proficiently (including manual vital signs when mechanical devices are not available).
• Completes all required competencies and education to maintain skill level to provide safe patient care.

Provides patient care

• Completes patient consults and testing orders, insurance pre-certification, and documentation appropriately to assure proper reimbursement.
• Documents billing codes at the end of each nursing visit as required.
• Routes notes to providers for co-signatures as required.
• Delegates and prioritizes tasks appropriately in order to facilitate safe, quality patient care and ensure patient care needs are met.
• Able to recognize and respond to emergency situations.

Evaluates and supports practice

• Evaluates practice support needs and identifies resources to meet the needs.
• Provides patient/family health counseling and education as needed to include but not limited to medications, procedures, and testing.

Communicates and collaborates

• Answers My Chart messages or telephone calls from patients same day.
• Performs triage.
• Communicates timely with providers, vendors, and other team members.

Engages in practice activities

• Actively engages in practice activities to assure patient and team safety.

Hiring Range: $32.50 - $44.73/Hourly
Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
