About the role
Provide patient care in the Cardiac Pavilion on a PRN basis.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are maintained.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care delivered.
- Coordinate with other departments to deliver quality care in alignment with organizational standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience (preferred).
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Valid RN license in the state or a compact licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Unit-specific certifications as needed.
Physical demands
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged standing and walking.
- Performing tasks that require gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting.
