About the Role
A versatile nursing position providing coverage across multiple units and departments.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care by transitioning seamlessly between clinical settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and support staff to ensure effective communication and patient-centered care.
- Conduct detailed patient assessments and tailor care plans based on individual needs and medical histories.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and critical situations to stabilize patients.
- Assist with patient placements, admissions, and transfers, managing bed capacity for optimal flow.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
- At least 1 year of RN experience; specialty experience preferred.
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) if working in critical care.
