RN - Behavioral Health - Adult Unit

Join a dedicated team as an RN in a Behavioral Health Adult Unit, providing direct patient care in accordance with facility policies. Key Responsibilities Include Conducting admitting and shift assessments, including behavior analysis.Using critical thinking to monitor patient conditions and notify physicians of changes.Participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning and documentation.Ensuring patient and environmental safety within the unit.Supervising care delivered by LPNs and techs and educating patients and families.Applying evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs.Adhering to professional nursing standards and ethical guidelines. Qualifications Include Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.Current RN license in Missouri or a Compact State.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Physical ability to perform essential duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and communication. Skills And Qualities Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based care.
