RN - Behavioral Health - Adult Unit

About the role

Join a dedicated team as an RN in a Behavioral Health Adult Unit, providing direct patient care in accordance with facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Conducting admitting and shift assessments, including behavior analysis.
• Using critical thinking to monitor patient conditions and notify physicians of changes.
• Participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning and documentation.
• Ensuring patient and environmental safety within the unit.
• Supervising care delivered by LPNs and techs and educating patients and families.
• Applying evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs.
• Adhering to professional nursing standards and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
• Current RN license in Missouri or a Compact State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Physical ability to perform essential duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and communication.
