Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health - Adult Unit

Join as an RN in Adult Behavioral Health, providing direct patient care in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Include Conducting admitting and shift assessments, including behavioral evaluations.Utilizing critical thinking to analyze patient data and notify physicians of changes.Participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning and documentation.Ensuring patient and environmental safety, supervising care by LPNs and techs.Educating patients and families, applying evidence-based practices, and adhering to professional nursing standards.Demonstrating professional conduct, maintaining safety, and performing additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.Current RN license in Missouri or eligible via compact state.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.No prior experience required. Skills And Physical Requirements Strong communication, critical thinking, and safety awareness.Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, walking, and environmental assessments.Proficiency in documentation and patient education.
