RN Assistant Nurse Manager (Full-Time)

Role Summary: The Assistant Nurse Manager is a licensed registered nurse supporting a specific clinical unit by leading staff, fostering teamwork, and ensuring high-quality patient care. They collaborate with the nurse manager to promote clinical excellence, staff recruitment, retention, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Support staff decision-making through shared governance and promote patient-centered care.Assist with budget monitoring, resource management, and quality improvement initiatives.Mentor and develop staff, ensuring clinical competency and adherence to standards.Foster a safe, productive work environment to attract and retain qualified personnel.Promote evidence-based practice, research, and performance improvement activities.Represent the organization professionally within the community and professional circles.Support compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience.Excellent communication, relationship-building, coaching, and mentorship skills.Desire to grow in nursing management, knowledge of healthcare finance, and proficiency with data-driven decision-making.Preferred: National certification in nursing administration.
