RN Assistant Nurse Manager - Behavioral Health

Role: The Assistant Nurse Manager is a registered nurse supporting the nurse manager in overseeing clinical units, fostering teamwork, and promoting a culture of excellence. Responsibilities: Leading staff in daily activities, coaching, and performance reviews; ensuring quality care and patient safety; supporting staff recruitment, retention, and professional development; managing resources, budgets, and clinical outcomes; promoting evidence-based practice and continuous improvement; collaborating across disciplines; and representing the organization positively in the community. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing, RN licensure, BLS certification, and a minimum of 3 years clinical experience. Preferred national certification in nursing administration. Must demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, mentorship, and a strong desire for professional growth. Knowledge of healthcare finance, data utilization, risk management, and regulatory standards is essential. Key Duties: Support clinical operations, foster staff development, ensure compliance with policies, and contribute to achieving clinical and financial goals through effective resource management and team collaboration.
