Responsibilities

Our nurses are respected clinical experts and valued partners in care. They are recognized as mentors, educators and strong health care advocates. Professional nursing practice is emphasized, and nurses participate in clinical decision-making and improve the quality of their work life.

• Provide care for patients from arrival until discharge.
• Ensure courteous and tactful interactions with patients, prioritizing quality care and patient safety.
• Assist with day-to-day operations to support optimal patient care, including helping teammates and providers as needed.
• Work in a small office environment with predictable schedules—no nights, no on-call.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
• BSN required within 7 years of hire.
• If hired into Home Health or inpatient acute service line after July 1, 2024, BSN is required at hire; for those hired before July 1, 2024, BSN is encouraged.
• Experience in an ambulatory setting is desirable.
• Previous Oncology/Infusion experience is highly preferred.

Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
