RN - Adult - Trach/Vent Care

About the role

Registered Nurse providing patient-centered, safe care for adult patients in home settings, focusing on G-tube, Trach, and Ventilator needs.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care services.
• Develop and revise care plans based on patient needs and physician directives.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor effectiveness, and document outcomes.
• Respond to changes in patient condition, reporting to physicians or supervisors.
• Identify areas for healthcare education, care coordination, and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the practicing state.
• Valid health certificate, BLS certification, and recent PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Preferred at least one year of RN experience.

Skills

• Planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
