About the Role

The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for assessing patient health, identifying alterations, and responding to actual and potential health issues through evidence-based nursing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Involve patients and families in care planning
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel
• Delegate tasks appropriately
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Contribute to a positive professional environment aligned with organizational mission
• Foster trust, collaboration, and patient advocacy

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Florida
• BSN preferred at hire or required within three years if hired after April 30, 2014
• Professional nursing certification preferred at hire or required within two years
