About the role

The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for assessing patient health status, identifying alterations, and responding to actual or potential health issues through evidence-based nursing interventions. They involve patients and their families in care planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure optimal outcomes. The nurse supervises and delegates tasks to Licensed Practical Nurses and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel, coordinating care across disciplines to promote high-quality patient care. The role emphasizes contributing to a positive work environment and upholding a standard of excellence in autonomous, accountable nursing practice focused on patient advocacy and innovative care.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• Professional nursing board certification ideally obtained at hire or within specified timeframes if not
• Current RN license in the state required
• Position does not involve vehicle operation
