About the role
Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced, specialty acute care setting, utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, prioritizing safety, wellness, and patient-centered approaches. Supports new staff through precepting and maintains proficiency through ongoing education and training.
Responsibilities
- Deliver top-of-scope nursing practice in moderate to high acuity units, including Med-Surg.
- Participate in specialty education supported by clinical educators and certification standards.
- Contribute to safety, quality, and continuous improvement at the point of care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.
- Current RN license and at least 6 months of nursing experience.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
