RN Acute Care - Ortho Surgical Part-Time Night Shift

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care - Ortho Surgical, serving on a part-time night shift. Responsibilities: Provide safe, individualized patient care through the nursing process, emphasizing evidence-based practice and cultural competence. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, communicate clearly with patients and families, and support performance improvement initiatives. Serve as a preceptor or mentor, participate in clinical research, and promote a respectful, inclusive environment. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and safety goals. Proactively plan patient care across the continuum and contribute to protocol development for improved outcomes. Qualifications & Skills: Must hold an active RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and a minimum of 5 years of RN experience, preferably with direct patient care. Requires strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and teamwork skills, along with proficiency in technology and documentation. Educational background includes an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
