Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Mental Health Nurse based at Woodland View facility within Ayrshire Central Hospital site. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
What You Will Do
You will be an integral member of the in-patient team, providing high quality clinical care for people with mental health difficulties. You will have delegated responsibilities for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care, ensuring that your clinical practice delivers high quality care. The post holders will support the nursing team in the provision of safe and effective clinical practice and assist in the enhancement of patient’s experience of care. The post holders will also contribute to the delivery of the departments objectives whilst working in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team.
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required For This Post
- A Registered Mental Health Nurse on Part 3 of the NMC register
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A well-developed knowledge of care of people with mental health problems
- A positive attitude towards enhancing the care experience of service users
- A willingness to engage in training opportunities to enhance your knowledge base
- Ability to provide evidence of professional development
