About the role

Part time position available at Parkview Huntington Hospital in the Operating Room department.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Assist with surgical procedures under the supervision of a surgeon.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Diploma in Nursing or an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Valid Registered Nurse License for the state where services will be provided.
• CPR certification required.
• Additional certifications may be required for specified areas.
• Additional experience required depending on area of specialty.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and assist with lifting up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in operating room nursing preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.
