Responsibilities

• Provide on-site coverage of a 12-bed adolescent PRTF and a small 4-6 bed young adult RTFA.
• Oversight and provision of medication administration and medication monitoring;
• Oversight and coordination of physical health of residents;
• Provision of metabolic screenings; vitals; restraint oversight and following assessments and collaboration with RTF team including psychiatrist.

Requirements

• Successful completion of RN program and active PA RN license in good standing.
• Experience in behavioral health care.
• Valid driver's license required. Own an insured vehicle for personal use.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable and comply with DPW’s 55 PA Code Chapter 3800 (Child Residential and Day Treatment Facilities Regulations) and OMHSAS’s memo date November 1995: Requirements for Residential Treatment Facilities for Adults.
• Knowledgeable and comply with CARF, CBH, PRTF and DHS requirements/regulations.
• Provide and ensure all aspects of Medication Administration and Medication Monitoring, to include trainings, coordination with pharmacy and collaboration with RTF psychiatrist are completed in a timely, comprehensive manner.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for the residents including crisis de-escalation techniques; conflict resolution skills and improvement of communication skills.
