RMC Staffing Coordinator

Baptist Health is the largest healthcare system serving central Alabama, providing comprehensive hospital-based and outpatient services to nearly 60 percent of the residents in Montgomery, Autauga and Elmore counties.

About the role

The RMC Staffing Coordinator maximizes resource efficiency through the end-to-end resource cycle—from schedule creation to precise placement—ensuring the right person is in the right place at the right time. The Coordinator maximizes core and contingency staff, as well as resource planning and deployment. Additional duties within the scope of the role may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage.
• Deploy core and contingency staff efficiently.
• Analyze resource needs and plan accordingly.
• Solve complex, multifactor staffing situations with appropriate solutions.
• Meet strict deadlines while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Maintain composure and effectiveness in difficult situations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working in a staffing office preferred.
• Previous experience in workforce planning preferred.
• Computer literacy, including working knowledge of commonly used business software.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
• Strong team leadership, organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Proficient computer skills and a proven track record of successful performance.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Schedule

• Regular part-time position.
• First shift.
