Job Summary

Responsibilities

Cook up and manage staffing schedules and rotations in collaboration with the care team to ensure adequate staffing levels and coverage
Manage and maintain accuracy of scheduling and staffing records
Identify and resolve staffing conflicts and issues in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation team members to ensure seamless communication and handovers
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Develop and maintain positive relationships with team members, residents, and families
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred
One year of prior experience in a nursing home is required; willingness to learn and take direction is essential
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly is key
A strong attention to detail and accuracy are required
The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion is crucial
