Risk Management - Executive Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Aid risk managers with various processes including keeping detailed committee meeting minutes.
  • Support product approvals, client requests, and reporting.
  • Manage seed capital notifications.
  • Conduct annual policy and procedure due diligence.
  • Leverage AI for process improvement and streamlining projects.
  • Schedule and maintain calendars, coordinating times, communicating, and corresponding with internal/external participants, scheduling rooms, addressing technology needs, and handling catering arrangements as needed.
  • Make domestic/international travel arrangements, developing detailed agendas, managing visa requirements, and addressing other travel/logistics related requirements as needed.
  • Prepare, submit, and monitor expense reports.
  • Manage telephone coverage, responding to inquiries, routing calls, and taking detailed messages.
  • Demonstrate discretion with sensitive information related to the firm, team, and staff.
  • Assist with special projects and requests as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Finance, Economics, or other related fields preferred.
  • 8-10 years relevant administrative support experience, preferably in the asset management industry.

Skills

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Prioritization, attention to detail, accuracy, follow-up with a sense of urgency, and strong organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently, ask for guidance as needed, and take direction.
  • Flexible attitude with the willingness to take on new projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Corporate Services Travel Online (CSTO) and Concur is a plus.

Benefits

Base pay rates for the role will be between $43.27 – $50.48 per hour at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
