About the role
The Risk & Safety Assistant (Temporary) position plays a crucial role in ensuring workplace safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting regular safety inspections and audits
- Develop and maintain safety protocols and emergency response plans
- Coordinate with external agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance
- Provide training and education on safety procedures to employees
- Document findings from inspections and reports to management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety-related role
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
