About the role

The Risk & Safety Assistant (Temporary) position plays a crucial role in ensuring workplace safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting regular safety inspections and audits
  • Develop and maintain safety protocols and emergency response plans
  • Coordinate with external agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance
  • Provide training and education on safety procedures to employees
  • Document findings from inspections and reports to management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety-related role
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
