Risk Engineering Specialist-Machinery Breakdown

About the role

This position will be located in Upstate NY with approximately 25% overnight travel. It is a work from home role and includes a company car.

Responsibilities

• Provide jurisdictional inspections and machinery breakdown risk assessment services for customers and business partners.
• Provide intermediate machinery breakdown consultative services to customers, including identifying exposures with significant loss potential, investigation of cause/effect of major losses, and hazard/machinery breakdown management programs.
• Provide basic level training for customers, service design and coordination, marketing, and loss investigations.

Requirements

Final candidates will also be subject to a Motor Vehicle record background check, due to this position including a company car.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area OR
• Zurich Certified Apprentice, including an Associates degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area

• Knowledge of exposures, controls, and best practice risk improvement

Skills

People management experience is preferred.

Pay is based on role, location, skills, and experience. Short-term incentive bonus eligibility is set at 20%. Comprehensive benefits are offered for employees and their families.

Pay

The proposed Salary range for this position is $126,700.00 - $207,600.00.
