About the role

We are looking for reliable employees who work well with others and have strong leadership skills! This is a great opportunity where hard work will accompany growth throughout the data center industry. This person is going to be heavily invested in admin work, as well as investing their time into assuring the site is controlled and running properly. This position is 100% on-site! There is potential for travel to the South hill site. You will be offered per diem if the trip exceeds more than 1 day.

Responsibilities

The role will involve managing a crew, conducting meetings, and maintaining equipment. There are two possible levels for this position: Project Manager and Superintendent. The Project Manager will manage a crew of 11-25 people, conduct toolbox talks and productive whiteboard meetings, and maintain crew timesheets. The Superintendent will manage 15+ people, participate in meetings, and provide guidance in a specific discipline.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience for Project Manager (Journeyman Level Licensing)
  • 8-10 years of experience for Superintendent
  • Knowledge of multiple disciplines (Fire Alarm, Telecom, Security, Electrical)
  • Ability to prepare daily reports, logs, and schedule updates
  • Mid-to-high knowledge of Bluebeam, Procore, MS projects or other scheduling tools
  • Understanding of constructions processes, RFI’s, RFQ’s, and site required specs

Skills

  • Cable, Cat5, Cabling, Cable installation, Punchdown
  • Great communication and strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and resolve conflicts

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $43.00/hr. Schedule

Hours: 5am-4pm. This is a fully onsite position in Sandston, VA.
