About the role

This role is responsible for executing RFP documents for the Pace Environmental commercial team and managing supporting materials/documentation to ensure professional representation of Pace.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the creation of RFP responses, proposals, and bids describing our services in response to requests from potential and existing clients.
  • Manages and meets proposal deadlines by establishing project priorities and due dates.
  • Collaborates and coordinates with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities.
  • Develops and establishes a repository of templates, standard language, product collateral, exhibits, and other data resources to create high-quality and accurate responses.
  • Establishes a tracking system with win-loss information and analyzes the data to improve the process.
  • Provides input to the strategic goals of RFPs, proposals, and bids.
  • Develops a robust process to manage RFPs and communicates expectations to functional teams.
  • Identifies and manages respective functional owners that support the process.
  • Works with marketing to ensure materials are properly branded.
  • Identifies potential tools to streamline the process.
  • Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a closely related field; AND two (2) years of sales support experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Principles, practices, and techniques of sales and market analysis.
  • Understanding of the administration and oversight of sales and market programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Methods to resolve sales and market problems, questions, and concerns.
  • Understanding of applicable sales and market laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and systems related to the work.
  • Principles and practices to serve as an effective project team member.
  • Methods to communicate with staff, coworkers, and customers to ensure safe, effective, and appropriate operations.
  • Correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Physical/Mental Requirements

  • Mobility to work in an office setting and use standard office equipment.
  • Stamina to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Strength to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
  • Vision to read printed materials and computer screens.
  • Hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.
