RF Technician
Responsibilities
Provides engineering analysis, integration and development support
Develops SATCOM signal environments with customers to meet event execution
Develops and analyzes Satellite link budgets
Develops and conducts test plans; interprets, documents, and presents the results to engineering peers, leadership, and the government customer
Active participation in the full Software Development Life Cycle leveraging Agile methodologies
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Must have an Active TS/SCI clearance
BS or technical degree and relevant work experience
Knowledge of SATCOM equipment including, but not limited to, antennas, HPAs/SSPAs, up/down-converters, LNAs, and modems
Experience with RF test equipment, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Power Meter, O-Scope
Experience with cable maintenance and fabrication, CAT-5/6, Coaxial RF, AC/DC power
Knowledge of SATCOM signals including modulation, error correction, and associated signal generation equipment
Ability to troubleshoot satellite communications systems
Ability to react quickly in a dynamic environment
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Willingness to travel
Skills
Writing and delivering technical documents and briefings
Troubleshooting satellite communications systems
Computer networks data analysis skills
Military experience or working in a military environment
DoD Test experience
Working knowledge of current DoD Space Control and counter space systems

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Competitive salary based on experience and education
Salary Range: $85,000-$110,000
