Microwave Techniques, located in Gorham, ME, Nashua, NH, and Hamburg Germany, is a skilled design and manufacturer of high-power RF components and provides technical solutions for clients globally. Responsibilities

  • On the job training is expected as training associated with this role is long term.
  • Mastering tasks will take months to years, so a desire to learn new skills and concepts is required.
  • Willing to learn, open-minded, and curious.
  • Attention to detail, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn the concepts behind how components work in addition to the steps required for tuning them.
  • Learn assembly and testing of RF products and ensure product meets specifications defined by engineering drawings and data sheets.
  • Ensure that work travelers are complete and accurate.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Two or more years in a technical role or manufacturing environment or experience in skilled trades helpful.
  • Associates degree in Electronics or knowledge of hand radio helpful.
  • Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and able to work well with associates at all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to use hand tools for assembly work.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.
  • Routinely communicates face-to-face on telephone and in writing require strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Normally standing with freedom of movement on a regular basis and ability to move within a campus setting.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate R.F. Components and Test Equipment up to 50lbs.
  • Requires strong interpersonal skills.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30.
