RF - STEP Academy Instructor
About the role
The STEP Academy Instructor is responsible for developing lesson plans and instructing students enrolled in the STEP Academy. The STEP Academy offers academic programs and enrichment activities to enhance the skills and competencies of students in grades 7-12 for entry into college-level programs in Science, Engineering, Technology, Health Sciences, and licensed professions.
Responsibilities
- Develop appropriate curricula for STEM related classes
- Communicate needed supplies to STEP Staff
- Teach curriculum
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for students
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
- During the summer, the STEP Academy runs Monday through Thursday. Specific schedule to be provided upon hire.
- During the academic year, the STEP Academy runs on Saturdays only. Specific schedule to be provided upon hire.
