Revenue Manager, Distribution Optimization (Remote Opportunity)
About the role
The Distribution Optimization Manager supports the Revenue Management and Leisure Sales team by facilitating the maintenance and expansion of channel management connectivity through the Central Reservation System (CRS) and relevant intermediaries to all property’s distribution channels, including leisure partners, online travel agencies (OTAs), Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and others.
Responsibilities
- Set up and facilitate new integration partners through CRS, ensuring optimal, efficient, and consistent connections through testing and audits.
- Independently manage rates and availability to leisure distribution channels via connectivity platforms, as well as travel agency and consortium channels via GDS.
- Build out and map all rate plans and new promotions based on revenue management and distribution optimization strategies.
- Primary lead and liaison to Fontainebleau Las Vegas IT team regarding CRS system performance and partner connectivity.
- Research, document, and analyze OTA insights for rate parity violations via distribution and metasearch channels.
- Perform test bookings on distribution channel websites to ensure consistency across all channels with brand.com.
- Complete Distribution and Leisure account pricing shops to determine how Fontainebleau Las Vegas compares to the competition.
- Ensure all channels are receiving and listing applicable promotions properly and tagged accordingly.
- Handle temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, hospitality, or related field; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Four (4) years of revenue management or channel distribution experience, preferably in hospitality and hotel operations, with at least one (1) year of supervisory experience.
- Previous experience in a large, luxury resort preferred.
- Experience with other Hotel and Administration systems including but not limited to Revenue Management systems, Delphi, GuestRev, GroupRev, etc., preferred.
- Prior use in Channel Management Technology platforms (preferred).
- Working knowledge of Tableau data reporting technology (preferred).
- Quick learner and adaptable to a dynamic, fluid working environment.
- Extremely detailed-oriented and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to develop and manage key relationships across the resort and with Distribution and Leisure Sales clients.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to present findings from quantitative data to a general audience.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly, and communicate clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
