Revenue Cycle Managed Services - Utilization Management (UM) / Utilization Review (UR) Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Revenue Cycle Managed Services - Utilization Management (UM) / Utilization Review (UR) Lead to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will guide utilization management and utilization review operations within a revenue cycle managed services environment, with a strong focus on workflow optimization, performance visibility, and service delivery. The ideal candidate will partner closely with healthcare operations and revenue cycle stakeholders to strengthen authorization processes, reduce denials, and improve operational outcomes. This position requires a hands-on leader who can assess current-state processes, drive improvements, and support effective day-to-day team execution in a complex healthcare services setting. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually Responsibilities Lead operational assessments of utilization management and care coordination functions Evaluate workflows and performance metrics to identify improvement areas Design and implement operational improvements for efficiency and service delivery Direct daily UM operations, including work distribution and review prioritization Collaborate with revenue cycle leaders to reduce authorization-related denials Analyze utilization patterns to identify opportunities for improvement Establish dashboards to monitor throughput performance and operational outcomes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field 7+ years of experience in healthcare operations, utilization management, care management, revenue cycle, or performance improvement 3+ years of leadership experience managing operational teams or transformation initiatives Strong understanding of utilization management operations and healthcare reimbursement Proven analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills Benefits Eligibility for an annual performance bonus Additional benefits and perks may be available depending on the position and employment terms Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
