Revenue Analyst-Healthcare Stop Loss (Remote)
Position Summary
The Revenue Analyst supports Allied’s strategic and financial objectives by assisting in the analysis of current and historical claims data for prospective/current client engagements.
Essential Functions
- Aid in the analysis of claim data to provide insights into prospective/current client health plans.
- Support the sales/retention and marketing teams with data-driven information to facilitate client acquisition strategies.
- Help in reviewing and preparing new/renewal business proposals, aiming for competitive and accurate pricing of Allied’s products and services.
- Gain an understanding of Allied product offerings.
- Support the strategic placement of stop loss coverage under the guidance of more senior team members, helping to ensure optimal risk management and financial protection for Allied and its prospects/current clients.
- Aid in the negotiation process of new business prospects/renewal clients and manage relationships with vendor partners under supervision, contributing to enhanced service offerings and operational excellence.
- Engage in ongoing learning in group medical stop loss reinsurance and underwriting principles, to support and eventually lead strategic client engagements.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- One to three years of experience in an analytical role required (e.g., data analyst, financial analyst, business analyst).
- Somewhat familiar with Group Health Insurance and/or Stop Loss experience is advantageous but not required.
- Medical Stop Loss Underwriting experience a plus.
- Microsoft Access experience a plus.
