Responsibilities
- Takes direction from the Returns Lead to load and unload materials on and off trucks, pick, pack, and ship materials back to suppliers.
- Knows how to identify proper shipping labels and coordinate and palletize product for shipment.
- Works in a warehouse environment as a certified forklift operator.
- Collaborates with other departments including Customer Service, Refurb, Receiving, Return to Vendor Associates, Purchasing, and external Connection Customers, carriers, and Vendors.
- Ensures all returns to be shipped are processed accurately and in a timely manner according to company policy to ensure timely reimbursement to Connection.
- Assists the Returns team in processing and warehousing all returned items.
- Maintains 100% accuracy on all inventory and ensures it is placed in proper locations.
- Aids in evaluating and reclassifying Open Box and Scratch and Dent product not processed in the Refurb Lab.
- Prepares and monitors inventory of liquidation/destroy product to ensure proper disposition.
- Pulls product from sellable locations as directed to be dispositioned.
- Provides answers to any questions that arise regarding product within the Returns Department.
Qualifications
- One or more years of experience in a similar role.
- Basic computer knowledge with the ability to operate a keyboard for data entry.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to create documents or simple spreadsheets.
- Strong communication skills and customer service experience.
