Retirement Benefits Call Center Representative
About the role
As a Retirement Benefits Call Center Representative, you will support participants by answering inbound calls related to pension and retirement benefits. You will assist callers with questions regarding defined benefit pension plans, payments, account information, required documentation, and next steps. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate multiple systems while delivering professional and empathetic customer service in a fast-paced call center environment.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls regarding pension and retirement benefit inquiries
- Aid participants with questions related to pension plans, payments, forms, and account information
- Research and resolve participant concerns professionally and efficiently
- Review and explain required documentation and next steps to callers
- Maintain productivity, quality, and attendance expectations
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure timely issue resolution
Requirements
- Previous customer service and call center experience
- Pension or retirement benefits experience preferred
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and tools efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to explain pension and retirement benefit information clearly and professionally
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive or complex inquiries
- Able to multitask while maintaining accuracy and quality
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:

Pay: $17/hour- Please note this pay rate may be below your state's minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying.
Schedule
Monday - Friday | Must be available to work any 8-hour shift scheduled between 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST
