Retail Support

Brief Description

To perform this job successfully, you will assist Financial Advisors in conducting business through Pershing. Activities include but are not limited to Account opening, asset movement, trade execution and approvals of these activities.

Primary Role - Retail Advisor Support

• Maintain documentation required for certain trading activity
• Train on the procedures and documentation required for asset movement requests
• Advise, educate and train users and other employees on the account onboarding process and update procedures on previously opened accounts

Secondary Role - Trade Execution and Compliance

• Advise on execution strategy for large quantity traders, low priced securities and unordinary products
• Collect documentation for transactions requiring paperwork and approvals

Secondary Role - System Training/Support (NetX360)

• Assist retail users in Navigation of NetX360
• Provide support as intermediary between Pershing technical staff and users

Secondary Role - Compliance

• Coordinate with Pershing and Crews' compliance department on required documentation for certain procedures

Requirements

• College Degree and/or two years experience in financial investment industry
• SIE, Series 7, 66, 63 or 65 Required
• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday Generally 40 hours a week
• Employee should be able to travel out of town

• Working knowledge of the functionality of equity, bond, closed and opened end securities markets

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Education/Experience

• College Degree and/or two years experience in financial investment industry

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday Generally 40 hours a week.
