About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village involves creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
- Manage inventory, including sorting, pricing, and stocking merchandise.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges according to company policies.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Support the donation process for customers and donors.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities provided by Savers University.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in retail or customer service preferred but not required.
Qualifications
