Responsible for leadership tasks as delegated by the store manager including acting as manager on duty, when scheduled, to address customer experience, vendor relationship, or maintenance issues. Partner with the members of the sales leadership team to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.

Responsibilities

• Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.
• Create exceptional in-store customer experiences through demonstrating and modeling selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and elevated product knowledge.
• Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the customer experience.
• Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.
• Consistently provide the most safe, clean, and engaging experience by adhering to all safety standards and expectations.
• Maintain our values, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a retail setting. Thrives in a customer-first based retail environment. Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture. Effective communication skills, being open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly. Ability to provide in the moment coaching to associates. Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.
