Responsibilities

• Directs the daily activities in the cafeteria area, ensuring proper procedures are followed, restocking of food items, correct menus for the day and time, and maintaining proper staffing levels
• Assures all policies and procedures regarding food handling and sanitation are followed; conducts walk-throughs and maintains overall safety and cleanliness of the department
• Assists with ordering, storage, and inventory of supplies for the department
• Prints proper labels, signage, recipes, and menus for daily/weekly use
• Ensures cashiers follow proper control procedures, performs audits, closes out registers, and completes all required paperwork and deposits following protocol
• Maintains equipment and work areas, ensures preventive maintenance takes place, and addresses issues to meet quality standards

Requirements

• 1-3 years of related experience
