Retail Supervisor-Apple Valley Commons

Responsibilities

• Arrange, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Lead the store in addressing customer experience, vendor relationships, and maintenance issues.
• Support action plans to improve results and ensure operational activities are executed effectively.
• Execute opening and closing routines, including bank deposits, receipt of shipments, and dissemination of company directives.
• Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.
• Create exceptional in-store customer experiences through demonstrating and sharing product knowledge.
• Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve their selling and customer experience skills.
• Lead with a customer-first approach, providing in-the-moment coaching and de-escalating store and customer situations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a retail setting.
• Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.
• Effective communication skills, openness to feedback, and quick adaptability.
• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.
• Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.
• Availability to work peak days and times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
