About the role

This full-time Team Leader role focuses on training and developing the team to exceed high standards in customer service, product knowledge, and sales. You will maximize profitable sales, ensure effective space management, and maintain store graphics and pricing systems. The role involves evaluating competitor visual merchandising, training Sales Associates, and motivating a high-performance team aligned with LEGO® Brand, Vision, and Values.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize profitable sales through regular review of sales and margin information.
  • Ensure effective space management techniques are utilized.
  • Maintain the store graphics system (including pricing) with a focus on customer service and sales.
  • Keep all fixtures replenished at all times.
  • Evaluate and communicate competitor visual merchandising techniques to identify business opportunities.
  • Train Sales Associates on visual merchandising techniques according to LEGO® Brand Retail guidelines.
  • Motivate and develop a high-performance team by sharing the LEGO® Brand, Vision, and Values.
  • Deliver inspirational retail experiences built on LEGO® Brand Values.
  • Conduct employee training, cash handling, inventory/sales auditing, and point-of-sale system management.
  • Maintain merchandise and visual merchandising standards.

Requirements

  • Leadership and/or management experience in a retail store environment.
  • Experience in delivering employee training.
  • Proficiency in cash handling and inventory/sales auditing.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale automated systems.
  • Experience in merchandise maintenance and visual merchandising.
  • Physical ability to constantly move, talk, hear, reach, grab, and stand for at least two consecutive hours.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
  • Vision abilities including close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
  • Full availability to work 40 hours per week.

Pay

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $23.50 to $24.90, based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints.
