Responsibilities
- Assist the ASM and SM in maintaining holiday, attendance, and team scheduling.
- Effectively supervise Sales Associates during shifts, addressing potential issues in line with LEGO policies and procedures, with support from the ASM and SM.
- Complete orders for store and office supplies following guidelines and operating budgets.
- Ensure money handling procedures are followed by all Sales Associates.
- Maintain a well-organized stockroom, ensuring all available products are merchandised on the shop floor and loss prevention targets are achieved.
- Assist the ASM and SM in achieving high standards of merchandise presentation following store guidelines.
- Provide training to enhance the team's ability to exceed customer service, product knowledge, and sales standards.
- Review sales and margin information regularly to enhance profitable sales.
- Ensure effective space management techniques are used.
- Maintain the store graphics system (including pricing) with a focus on customer service and maximizing profitable sales.
- Ensure all fixtures are always replenished.
- Evaluate and communicate competitor visual merchandising techniques to identify opportunities for business development.
- Train Sales Associates on visual merchandising techniques according to LEGO® Brand Retail guidelines.
- Empower and develop a high-performance team by sharing the LEGO® Brand, Vision, and Values.
- Deliver inspirational retail experiences built on LEGO® Brand values.
- Execute floor leadership (70% of work week) and drive top-line sales through effective leadership and people development.
- Perform cash handling, inventory/sales auditing, and use Point of Sales Automated Systems.
- Ensure store goals are achieved through strategic planning and smart actions.
- Elevate the guest experience through merchandise maintenance and visual merchandising.
- Perform traffic counting duties outside of the store.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of leadership and/or management experience in a retail store environment.
- Ability to develop, coach, and manage performance development.
- Experience delivering employee training, facilitating meetings, and providing feedback.
- Ability to use voice amplifiers, headsets, earpieces, and/or microphones.
- Physical ability to constantly move, talk, hear, reach, grab, and stand for at least two consecutive hours.
- May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
- Full availability to work 40 hours per week.
Pay
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $24.52 to $27.72, based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints.
