Retail Store Manager, Fabletics (Valley Fair - Santa Clara, CA)

About the role

Fabletics is seeking a passionate and driven Retail Store Manager for our store at Valley Fair in Santa Clara, CA. This position reports to the Regional Director.

Responsibilities

• Embody Fabletics' culture and values through self-accountability and serving as a model for all team members.
• Recruit, hire, and train store associates and supervisors, preparing them to engage customers in meaningful ways.
• Drive customer engagement inside and outside the store, including store events, promotions, and community projects.
• Direct the daily activities of store supervisors and associates, aligning them with company and store goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Merchandising, Inventory Planning, and Fulfillment to provide timely and responsible outcomes to needs and requests.
• Achieve operational efficiency by managing payroll, inventory management, and paperwork.
• Develop and maintain store merchandising guidelines to enhance the shopping experience and add value to customer purchases.
• Participate in providing feedback from all levels of the organization to continuously improve the business.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a manager in a retail environment.
• Knowledge and familiarity with active lifestyle choices such as yoga, cycling/spin, pilates, weight training, running, nutrition, and other healthy activities.
• Ability to interact socially with customers, employees, and business partners both inside and outside the store.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly analytical and quantitative, comfortable building advanced spreadsheet models.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to take initiative.
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and retail inventory and POS systems.
• Self-motivated, good communicator, and able to bring the best out in others.
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, and work well under pressure.
• Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.

• Willingness to work onsite and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
