Retail Store Manager
Aim of the Role
The Russell Stover Chocolates store environment is unique, serving as a destination for both consumers and customers seeking gifts and treats. As the Retail Store Manager, you will manage the dual nature and seasonality of this environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store
- Recruit and hire quality associates
- Provide first-rate coaching and training
- Achieve all budgeted sales and profit goals
- Control expenses
- Maintain proper inventory levels
- Exhibit exceptional customer service
- Manage the regular in-house production of a variety of confection items made locally in our candy kitchen
- Perform back office duties
Requirements
- 5 years of prior retail management experience
- Customer service and selling experience
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel
- Ability to frequently lift up to 5 pounds with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Constantly stand, bend, reach, and work with your hands
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
- Able to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
- Time management skills

- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
