About the role
Ollie’s Retail Store Manager leads the successful operation of the entire store, building and leading Associate teams passionate about merchandising and creating exceptional customer experiences.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provides financial oversight of sales and profit goals, including management of payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and other key company initiatives.
- Demonstrates Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors in providing exceptional Associate and Customer service experiences.
- Executes company strategies for merchandising, store standards, seasonal transition planning, and inventory processes to meet operational goals and expectations.
- Maintains proper security of the store location and all company assets.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer.
- Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holiday seasons on a regular basis.
- Valid Driver’s license.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Work in a safe manner.
