About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village involves creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
• Manage inventory, including sorting, pricing, and stocking products.
• Handle donations from customers and manage the donation process.
• Support team members with training and guidance.
• Participate in store events and promotions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations and point-of-sale systems.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from $18.45 to $24.31 per hour, depending on job duty/position.

Schedule

Shifts may vary based on store needs, but typically include morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend hours.
