Retail Store Associate

About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village is responsible for creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for customers and donors.
• Assist customers with finding items they need and answer any questions they may have.
• Manage inventory, including restocking shelves and maintaining cleanliness.
• Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Engage with donors to encourage donations and provide information about how donations benefit the community.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from $14.00 to $18.45 per hour, depending on job duties and position.

Schedule

Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, with the possibility of working full-time or part-time.
