Retail Store Associate
Description
The mission of Savers / Value Village is to champion reuse and inspire a future where secondhand is second nature. We supply our stores with gently-used, one-of-a-kind items that have been donated by the community to local nonprofit organizations. We purchase these items directly from our nonprofit partners, redirecting billions of pounds of used items away from landfills and on to our store racks and shelves for reuse, and providing our partners with valuable funding for their community-based programs and services.
About the Role
Create an awesome experience for Customers, Donors, and other Team Members. This position is available for both Full Time and Part Time Retail Store Associates.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment for all customers and donors.
- Assist customers in finding items they need and answer any questions they may have.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Support the store’s efforts to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Qualifications
- Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay
Starting pay ranges from $18.70 - $24.64 depending on job duty/position.
Schedule
Flexible schedule to accommodate both Full Time and Part Time positions.
