About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village involves creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
- Manage inventory, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and in good condition.
- Handle returns and exchanges according to store policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Support the store's fundraising efforts by engaging with donors and promoting the store's mission.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities provided by Savers University.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Knowledge of thrift store operations and merchandise handling.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
