About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village involves creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
• Manage inventory and stock shelves to ensure products are displayed attractively and restocked as needed.
• Handle donations from the community, sorting and processing items according to specific categories.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from $16.00 to $16.87 depending on job duties and positions.
