About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village involves creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
- Manage inventory, including sorting, pricing, and stocking merchandise.
- Handle returns and exchanges according to company policies.
- Communicate effectively with donors to manage donations and ensure proper sorting and storage.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Support the store's efforts to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
Qualifications
- Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is helpful.

Pay
The starting pay range for Retail Store Associates is from $17.00 to $22.40 per hour, depending on job duties and position.
