About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village involves creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
• Manage inventory by sorting, pricing, and stocking items in the store.
• Handle donations from the community, ensuring they are accepted and stored appropriately.
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Support the store's mission of promoting sustainability and reuse through customer engagement and donation management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Pay
