About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village is designed to create an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment for customers, donors, and fellow associates.
- Manage inventory and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Process donations and transactions accurately according to company policies.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Support the store's efforts in promoting sustainability and community involvement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
