About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village is designed to create an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for customers, donors, and fellow associates.
• Manage inventory and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Process donations and transactions accurately according to company policies.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Support the store's efforts in promoting sustainability and community involvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
